General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
The new GDPR regulations came in to force from May, 2018.
This regulates who will be able to contact you, how that contact is made, and to ensure privacy settings are applied all of which have been designed to protect the public.
We currently hold your contact details on our database and we will use these for the sole use of the committee to contact you with details of forthcoming golfing meetings and matches, which we call Marketing Communications, together with AGM paperwork and reminders for subscriptions.
We never give your personal data to any other company and we ensure that the information we hold about you is limited only to what is required (name, telephone number(s), postal address and email address)for the society to remain in contact.
We want to ensure that you are happy for us to continue to send communications to you. As everyone has since 2016 given their consent for us to send this information we will continue to do so unless you inform us otherwise.
You are able to unsubscribe from these communications at any time, should you wish to do so in the future. Any wish to unsubscribe should be made via the contacts tab on this website, or by email or post to the current secretary of the society.
Owing to the high cost of postage the only information we would be able to send via post is the AGM papers.
